The movie tells the story of a troubled boxer who moves in with long-lost mother and pianist brother with autism. But he must fit in with a family he hasn't known for years.
“Keys to the Heart” stars Zanjoe Marudo and Elijah Canlas as brothers, and BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee Dolly de Leon, who portrays the mother.
“It’s a celebration of family, unconventional families, blended families. It could be a family that you adopt and friends who become family and neighbors who actually become just as important,” said Cebuano director Kerwin Go at the “See What’s Next: Philippines 2023” local titles launch.
In the newly released key art for the Filipino version of the film, three people are shown walking hand in hand toward a series of open and closed doors, set against a backdrop of piano keys, beautifully capturing the hopes and dreams of a simple but extraordinary family reunited by love and music, looking forward to the future.
“Keys to the Heart” will premiere on Oct. 4 on Netflix.
