LTO-NCR opens driver's license renewal office in Muntinlupa City
The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) has opened a Driver's License Renewal Office (DLRO) at the Ayala South Park Mall in Muntinlupa City, the 30th license renewal office in Metro Manila.
LTO-NCR director Roque I. Verzosa III said the move is to bring the agency’s services closer to the people and for them to be comfortable in conducting LTO transactions.
“Our DLROs play a critical role in upholding road safety, ensuring regulatory adherence, and facilitating various aspects of daily life that depend on proper identification. Additionally, they contribute to the promotion of responsible driving and serve as a source of revenue for government programs and initiatives,’ said Verzosa.
The most significant benefit these DLROs bring, according to Verzosa, is simplifying the driver's license renewal process for local residents.
‘This new DLRO will offer convenience to thousands of drivers, not only to those residing in Muntinlupa City but also to individuals in nearby areas seeking to renew their licenses,” he added.
The new DLRO in Alabang will cater to several dozen drivers in a single day, as the Ayala Southpark Mall also hosts the satellite offices of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Verzosa and Assistant Regional Director Hanzley H. Lim, were repsent during the ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
