CHED warns public against suspicious links that offer educ'l subsidy
The Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) UniFAST program urged the public to verify the links shared by individuals or groups that claim to assist in applying for the Tertiary Education Subsidy-Tulong Dunong Program.

"The Commission on Higher Education-UniFAST reiterates its reminder to the public to first check links shared by individuals or groups purportedly inviting students to apply for the Tertiary Education Subsidy-Tulong Dunong Program," CHED said in an advisory on Sept. 26.
According to the agency, the said education subsidy is "being implemented by CHED-UniFAST under the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act (RA 10931)."
For security and protection, CHED also reminded the public never to disclose personal information to anyone unless the legitimacy of the social media account or website has been verified.
CHED encouraged the public to follow the official website and accounts of CHED-UniFAST and its Regional Offices for official updates.
