The Diocesan Shrine of Jesus in the Holy Sepulcher, more popularly known as the Dambana ni Lolo Uweng, in Landayan, San Pedro, Laguna is inviting the faithful to attend the fiesta mass in honor of Saint Michael (San Miguel) the Archangel and the Archangels on Friday, Sept. 29 at 9:30 a.m.

Rev. Fr. Anton Pascual, president of Radio Veritas and Caritas Manila executive director, will preside over the concelebrated mass which coincides with the launching of Caritas Manila sa Landayan.
“The Diocesan Shrine of Jesus in the Holy Sepulcher, also known as the Dambana ni Lolo Uweng in Landayan, San Pedro, Laguna will launch Caritas Manila sa Landayan, as part of its celebration of the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel and the Archangels on Sept. 29, the last Friday of the month. A concelebrated mass will be led by Rev. Fr. Anton Pascual, executive director of Caritas Manila. Everyone is invited to attend this important event,” organizers said.
The Social Service Development Ministry of the Archdiocese of Manila will launch Caritas Manila sa Landayan during the event.
The shrine is home to the miraculous image of the sacred interred Christ, fondly called Lolo Uweng by the locals, at the Holy Sepulcher which is as old as its 1836 Church bell.
The church was declared as a parish on Sept. 29, 1969 and is under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of San Pablo.
