3 nabbed in Tagbilaran drug den raid

CEBU CITY – Three persons were arrested in a drug den raid in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on Tuesday afternoon, September 27.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas (PDEA-7), with operatives of the Bohol Provincial Police Office and Tagbilaran City Police Station and personnel of the Naval Forces Central, arrested Vicente Bumaat, 59; Jovelyn Aneslagon, 35; and Maryline Resogenia, 46.

Bumaat was the alleged maintainer of the drug den.

Suspected shabu with an estimated value of P54,600 was seized during the operation, said Leia Alcantara, spokesperson of PDEA-7.

Alcantara said a three-week case build-up was made before the drug den raid was conducted.

Based on the tip that the PDEA-7 received, Bumaat was capable of selling 10 grams of illegal drugs a week.

Alcantara said further investigation will be made to identify the suspect’s source of illegal drugs.
