100 Bulakenyos complete TESDA farm training

Bulacan Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro graced the mass graduation of more than a hundred farm workers including farm youth who were trained under a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) program on farming on Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The graduation took place at Joyful Garden Farm in Barangay Mataas na Parang, San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Castro congratulated the graduates who completed their training on planting and farming under the supervision of TESDA and in collaboration with the provincial government of Bulacan.

The Bulacan vice governor urged the graduates to share what they learned with others to improve the productivity of their farms.

He said the skills provided by TESDA to Bulakenyo farmers could help them a lot in starting their own businesses in agriculture and likewise boost the country's food sustainability.
