Rodriguez, Rizal BSKE candidates pledge peaceful, orderly elections

Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) candidates in Rodriguez, Rizal have inked a pact for a peaceful and orderly conduct of the October 30 polls.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) on September 25 led the signing of the covenant.

The office of Rizal PPO director, Col. Rainerio M. De Chavez, said the BSKE candidates first joined the police-organized Unity Walk, Interfaith Rally, Peace Covenant Signing and Integrity Pledge at the compound of the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Church before proceeding to the municipal gymnasium.

Provincial election supervisor Atty. Arnulfo Pioquinto, Rodriguez Mayor Ronnie S. Evangelista, members of the Philippine Army, and members of the Rodriguez Police Station led by Lt. Col. Arnulfo Selencio also joined in the signing of the covenant following the oath-taking ceremony.
