The Philippine property market is making a resounding statement, announcing its readiness to embark on bolder projects, introduce innovations, and contribute more to economic growth. This renewed vitality was unmistakably evident in the roll call of winners of the Dot Property Philippines Awards 2023.

The awards ceremony, held in person at The Peninsula Manila on Sept. 14, 2023, saw 32 winners from across the country. The MANILA BULLETIN is the media partner for the event.

SM Development Corporation (SMDC) claimed the spotlight by securing eight awards, including the prestigious "Developer of the Year" title for the second consecutive year.

Meanwhile, RLC Residences clinched the "Philippines People's Choice Award for Project of the Year 2023" for its outstanding Le Pont Residences in Pasig City.

The palpable optimism reverberating during the awards night was echoed by Dot Property Philippines Country Manager Tanya Peralta-Yu, "Our industries are real catalysts for urban regeneration, creating vibrant communities that prioritize the needs and aspirations of its residents. Together, let us continue to build a nation where dreams are realized, communities flourish, and excellence is the cornerstone of our success."

As each award was presented, the spirit of friendly competition infused excitement not only in the ballroom but resonated throughout the industry. It reflected the collective enthusiasm for the new projects and developments emerging across the country, now on par with the world's best.

“There is genuine excitement around the Philippine real estate market. The Dot Property Group platform has seen a significant year-on-year rise in search for property within the Philippines from both domestic and overseas property seekers,” said Adam Sutcliffe, Dot Property Group Director, Events and International Markets. “This year’s Dot Property Philippines Awards winners are recognized as playing a crucial role in the recovery and expansion of the national real estate market, stemming from their close attention to the evolving demands of property buyers.”

Sutcliffe added: "On a consumer level, the awards are about highlighting those projects and agencies that are worthy of home seekers’ special attention. On a business-to-business level, the awards are about ensuring that there's no better place for you and your teams to celebrate your success.”

Big night for brave developers

It was a big night for SMDC who was presented with eight honors, including “Developer of The Year 2023,” the most prestigious award. Meanwhile, Sands Residences and Ice Tower were amongst a few of its projects to be recognized.

RLC Residences collected eight awards as well this year. In addition to winning “Best Developer Metro Manila,” the company was also named “Best Developer Cebu” and was the recipient of the “Special Recognition Award for Innovation” — recognizing their projects’ adaptation to innovation, which include the latest technological advances for the comfort of their residents.
