P515,000 shabu seized in Lucena

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police seized suspected shabu worth more than P500,000 from a 27-year-old drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Purok Jasmin, Barangay Silangang Mayao, this city, on Sunday night, September 24.

The suspect was identified as John Philip Miranda, a construction worker from Barangay Sabang 2 in Calauag, Quezon, and as a high-value individual (HVI) drug pusher.

Miranda yielded shabu with an estimated weight of 25.26 grams and a street value of P515,304.

Suspect is temporarily detained at the custodial facility of the Lucena City Police Station while drug-related cases are being prepared against him.
