Former beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista has been sighted once again with basketball player Ricci Rivero.
This time, they were caught on cam holding hands.
Videos of the encounter are circulating widely on various social media sites.
Note that Leren was accused as the third party that caused Ricci's much-publicized breakup with young star Andrea Brillantes.
During that period, Ricci asked his social media followers to give him and Andrea some space to "heal" after their split.
He emphasized, "Stop creating your own versions and dragging other characters into these false accusations."
Leren denied the allegations as well.
The Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2015 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2019 titleholder stated in an official message, "We would like to address the disinformation that has been circulating across social media platforms regarding Councilor Leren and her alleged romantic involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero. We want to make it clear that these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality."
According to the statement, the outreach activity in which Leren participated alongside Ricci is not an indication of a romantic relationship between them.
"The video that went viral, depicting Ricci's belated celebration with his friends, which numerous other invited individuals joined, was taken down due to concerns about potential misinterpretation by viewers," it emphasized.
"We encourage everyone to refrain from creating malicious and insinuating comments on social media. Likewise, we call on everyone to understand the importance of fact-checking information shared across various internet platforms."
