The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has handed over five patient transport vehicles (PTV) to four municipalities in Ilocos Norte.

The initiative is part of the national government's "Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair," where four municipalities—Pasuquin, Bacarra, Pagudpud, and Piddig—have been identified as eligible PTV recipients.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally handed over the donations to Ilocos Norte 1st District Rep. Sandro Marcos at the Laoag Centennial Arena on Sept. 23.
The PCSO said PTVs will be utilized for the swift and secure transportation of patients to and from hospitals or clinics.
"We wholeheartedly thank you, and we hope for a continued partnership in the service of [Filipinos]. This is just the beginning of our assistance to Ilocos Norte," said Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc in Filipino during his introductory speech.
The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair aimed to bring various national government agencies' products and services closer to Filipinos.
