MTRCB to look into Joey de Leon's controversial 'lubid' wisecrack

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) is going to look into the controversy ignited by Joey de Leon in a recent episode of "E.A.T."

In a statement, the agency said: "Taking cognizance of the complaints from the viewing public in relation to E.A.T. Gimme 5 segment aired last 23 September 2023, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) shall determine if the same are valid and presumably violative of Presidential Decree No. 1986 and/or its Implementing Rules and Regulations."

Note that in the segment, the TV host was heard suggesting "lubid" as something somebody could wear on the neck.

Critics believe this unsympathetic if all-together insensitive relating suicide.
