House leaders still had a good reason to smile Monday, Sept. 25 despite their very tiring plenary schedule this week in connection with the P5.768-trillion General Appropriations Bill (GAB) or proposed national budget for 2024.
This, after popular showbiz personality and game show host Willie Revillame visited Batasan Complex in Quezon City.
A Facebook post from Deputy Majority Leader and ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo showed that Revillame paid a courtesy call to House Speaker Martin Romualdez, who is then leader of the 311-strong legislative chamber.
"Thank you sa pagdalaw [for visiting] Kuya Wil…," wrote Tulfo.
Apparently, Revillame also intended to visit his showbiz friends Richard Gomez and Samuel Verzosa Jr. during his short time at the House of Representatives.
Gomez is Leyte 4th district congressman, while Verzosa represents TUTOK TO WIN Party-list.
The House intends to pass the 2024 GAB on third and final reading Wednesday, Sept. 27.
