Hunk actor Joshua Garcia finally addressed gossip about him and French-Filipino athlete Emilienne Vigier's alleged romantic relations.
In a recent interview during the media conference of his upcoming film "Fruitcake," Joshua shared, "Okay, para ma-klaro na lahat na wala ng maitanong ang lahat, baka sabihin kasi nila dine-deny ko yung babae, pero hindi ko siya dine-deny. It's just ako and her, (we) decided not to share to everyone."
He added, "Kasi yung relationship na yan e kami lang naman yung parte du'n."
Joshua also mentioned that he's learned from past mistakes.
He said, "Galing na kasi ako sa iba't-ibang klaseng relationship and every time na shine-share ko sa lahat, parang nagkakagulo. Alam mo yun, nagiging shaky yung relationship," was how he put it. "So parang this time mas pinapahalagahan ko yung privacy sa ganu'ng aspect."
He emphasized that this applies not only to his love life but also to his family.
"Hangga't maaari sa panahon ngayon mas okay kung private kang tao."
Regarding Emilienne's feelings about the arrangement and his profession as an actor, Joshua stated, "Yeah... Nakilala niya ako na nandito na ako sa industriya," highlighting how supportive she is.
When asked if Emilienne would enter showbiz, Joshua replied, "Ayaw niya. Masyadong magulo yung industriya."
Would he be open to it if she wanted to give it a try?
"Kilala mo ako, hindi ko kino-control yung taong ka-relasyon ko. Ako yung tipong susuportahan ka hanggang dulo, kung anong gusto mong marating sa buhay. Ganu'n naman yun. May goal ka, may goal siya, and then kung may goal kayo together mas maganda yun."
In any case, Joshua expressed that he feels "inspired" these days. He said, "I mean, what you see is what you get talaga. Lalo na ngayon, lahat na sa social media na. Kung anong makita nila, yun na yun. Hindi mo na kailangang i-elaborate pa kung ano yung nangyayari."
"Like I said, wala akong sasabihing kahit ano. That's me and her decision para peaceful lang din."
Regarding making official announcements, Joshua said, "Walang announcement. Kahit nga pag kinasal ka mas okay wag mong i-announce. Ako, importante na sa akin ngayon, sa panahon ngayon yung privacy. Sobrang importante sa akin. So yun na lang yung ititira ko sa sarili ko."
Earlier this month, Joshua and Emilienne vacationed overseas.
Many online observers suspect they shared this trip.
Some months ago, admirers began to wonder about Joshua and Emilienne's bond upon noticing that much of their online content hinted they were in the same location.
Later on, they were spotted together.
