Actor Dingdong Dantes, known for his wit and charismatic personality, returns as the host of the beloved game show Family Feud for another season of fun and excitement.

Despite all the adrenaline and chaotic energy on set, Dingdong admitted he experienced a slight slip-up while taping an episode of the game show.

During an intimate press conference at the GMA Studio Annex on Sept. 24, Dingdong opened the story of how he accidentally told the answer during their shoot.

"Minsan kasi gaya ng sabi ko, sobrang na eexcite ako parang feeling ko kasama na rin ako sa contestant, so tinatanong ko sila, yung question ko is paano yung strategy nila para painumin ng gamot yung mga bata, tapos hindi ko alam kung kanino ko nasabi, paglipat ko sa other contestant nasabi ko yung sagot na saging," Dingdong said.

(Sometimes, as I said, I get so excited as if I feel like I'm with the contestant, so I ask them, my question is what is their strategy to get the children to drink medicine, then I don't know who I told it to, when I moved to the other contestant, I said the answer was banana)

As Dingdong continued the story, he realized that he messed up the game and had to pause the shoot for one hour to resolve the slip-up. He immediately took responsibility for the incident and said sorry to the staff of the show.

"So nasabi ko nga yung sagot, so nag time out muna kami ng one hour naming niresolve, kasi syempre game show pa rin yun, and inamin ko rin na nagkamali ako kasi naexcite ako, sabi ko sa kanila maresolve namin ito, and true enough naayos naman," Dingdong added.

(So I did say the answer, so we timed out for one hour to solve it, because of course it was still a game show, and I also admitted that I made a mistake because I was excited, I told them we could solve it, and true enough it was fixed again)

According to Dingdong, it was one of the most unforgettable moments that he had while shooting for the show.

'Family Feud' features kid players

Entering a new season for the beloved game show starting on Oct. 2, Dingdong mentioned that there will be new elements that the show will give to the audience.

This includes Kids who will be playing on the podium and answering the top 10 survey questions.

When asked about his daughter Zia joining the game, Dingdong answered Zia needs to train for it.

"Actually naglalaro kami ni Zia sa bahay, nagiimbento kami ng mga tanong-tanong, sinusubukan niya sumagot and yung ginagamit ko pa nga yung dating questions namin from previous episodes, nakakasagot naman siya kahit paunti-unit kaya excited ako if ever gusto sumali ni Zia," Dingdong said.

(Actually, Zia and I play at home, we invent questions, she tries to answer and I even use our old questions from previous episodes, she can answer even little by little so I am excited if Zia ever wants to join)
