Tiktok invites everyone to celebrate their own style with the launch of its Fashion Month campaign

Turn the social media platform into your very own virtual runway


These days, the latest in fashion, from the hottest “it” items to the newest style core, can be seen not just on magazines and news websites but also on Tiktok. As the fashion industry continues to dominate the digital world, its community found a new home in the social media platform. To further strengthen its goal of building a virtual space for its fashion-loving users, the app launched its Tiktok Fashion Month campaign.

The campaign aims to empower Filipinos as they experiment with what they wear and share their story through clothing and short videos. From Sep. 10 to Oct. 10, TikTok Fashion Month will present an array of engaging activities where users can share their personal style and turn the platform into their very own virtual runway. The online fashion fest was kicked off through a fashion challenge led by #TiktokFashion’s Lenie Aycardo playing with traditional Filipiniana to modern Filipiniana aesthetics.

Tiktok also partnered with movers in the local fashion scene, which includes SoFA Design Institute for TikTok Fashion Masterclass, retail giant Bench for its 2023 fashion week, and Vogue x TikTok Socials Night featuring the fusion of high-fashion and online media.

The social media platform will also be the media partner for BYS Fashion Week, an occasion that spotlights the skills of local designers. Happening from Oct. 5 to 7, this collaborative effort serves as a testament to TikTok's dedicated support and amplification of local fashion talent on a major stage. Furthermore, the collaboration showcases TikTok creators participating as attendees and runway models.

Apart from Lenie, its brightest Filipino creators will also take part in the month-long fashion fest as they set to appear at the Bangkok International Fashion Week from Oct. 5 to 8.
