Rizal Police seizes over P40,000 shabu in buy-bust ops

Some P40,392 worth of illegal drugs were seized by the police following three separate anti-narcotics operations in three areas in the province over the weekend.

Reports from the office of Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Col. Rainerio de Chavez, showed that three suspects were arrested as a result of the separate police operations in Angono, Pililla, and San Mateo.

A total of 5.55 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated by the police from the suspects, who are all under detention and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
