ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu worth P6.67 million over the weekend in this city.
Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, Police Regional Office-6 chief, cited the accomplishment.
“The series of arrest in Iloilo City is a result of a high-impact, intelligence-driven police operation,” said Villaflor.
“The supply came from Manila and the three anti-drug operations are inter-linked and was totally intercepted by our operatives prior distribution to sub-dealers,” he added.
Shabu worth P3.4 million was seized from two suspects, alias “Yucan” and “Tin,” past midnight on Sunday, September 24, in La Paz District during a buy-bust operation led by the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO)-City Drug Enforcement Unit.
An hour later, 370 grams of shabu valued at P2.56 million was seized from “Tringay” and “Toting” in Arevalo District in another buy-bust operation.
Late Saturday night, September 23, 70 grams of shabu worth P476,000 was seized in the City Proper District from “Jao.”
