P2.7-M shabu seized in Lucena

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police seized suspected shabu worth P2.7 million and apprehended a drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibabang Iyam, this city, early Sunday morning, September 24.

Quezon police director Police Col. Ledon Monte identified the suspect as Khristian Joy Medina, alias “Tigas,” 36, a resident of Barangay Ibabang Iyam.

Confiscated from the suspect, considered a high-value individual with a previous drug case, were 136 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P2,754,000 placed in two knot-tied plastic bags, a black belt bag, and the buy-bust money totaling P10,000.

Medina is in the custody of the Lucena police and a drug-related case has been filed against him.
