Daycare learners receive workbooks in exchange of plastic bottles in Bulacan

Children in Bulacan received workbooks in exchange of plastic bottles brought by their parents during the inauguration of a new day care center in Barangay Parulan, Plaridel, in the province on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Plaridel Mayor Jocell Aimee R. Vistan said the successful inauguration of the new classrooms in the Daycare Center in the said village was made possible with the help of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Bulacan Chapter (PCCBC) and the whole Sangguniang Barangay of Parulan.

“Malaking bagay itong mga Daycare Centers sa ating mga kabataan," (These daycare centers are abig help for our children)," the Plaridel mayor said thanking the PCCBC for their support.

Along with the program was the "Naipong Kalat, Workbook ang Katapat" wherein the municipality of Plaridel gives free workbooks for children in exchange for plastic bottles brought by the parents.

Aside from the "Naipong Kalat, Workbook ang Katapat" project, storytelling for kids was also held during the event.
