Cops net P444,000 'marijuana,' 3 drug suspects in Bulacan

Around P444,000 worth of alleger dried marijuana leaves were confiscated from a man and a woman, while another drug suspect was nabbed in two separate anti-criminality operations by Bulacan police in the prlvince on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Bulacan police said that the first drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Guiguinto police in Barangay Poblacion at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday resulted in the arrest of suspects, Jeremiah Santos, and Erika Joy Adviento, both from Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Confiscated from them were five bricks of dried leaves suspected as marijuana with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P444,000, one weighing scale, and buy-bust money.

Additionally, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat police arrested one suspect, identified as Victor Abrasado, of Barangay Donacion, Angat, after he yielding three pieces of small heat shield plastic sachet containing suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation. 

All of the arrested suspects and evidence were brought to the Bulacan Forensic Unit for examination.
