Bomb parts recovered in Nueva Ecija

GABALDON, Nueva Ecija – Police recovered bomb materials during a patrol in Barangay Camatchile here on Thursday, September 21.

Found were 40 caliber 5.56mm ammunition for M16 rifle, two magazine assemblies for M16 rifle, and essential parts of an Improvised Explosive Device or IED such as a nine-volt Battery and 134-centimeter wire.

“We will maintain the peace and order in the province, conduct more police operations, and intensify police presence in places of convergence in preparation for the upcoming BSKE 2023,” Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, said.

Meanwhile, police arrested two individuals wanted for estafa and falsification of public documents in Talavera and Gapan City, this province. Suspects are in the custody of arresting units.
