Bet collector dies in gun attack

LIPA CITY, Batangas â€“ A 36-year-old bet collector was gunned down in Purok 1, Barangay Bulacnin, this city, on Saturday night, September 23.

Police identified the victim as Jojo Caraig, single, of Purok 5, Barangay Bulacnin.

Investigation said the victim was collecting bets when a man riding a motorcycle arrived and shot him in the head and body.

Caraig died on the spot.

The gunman fled towards Barangay Maraouy here.

Police have yet to determine the motive of the crime but are pursuing the suspect.
