Ahead of the celebration of the National Tourism Week on the last week of September, Antipolo City is holding its own fun fair with its 11th Antipolo Tourism Fair 2023 on Sept. 24.
The last day of the three-day tourism fair, that carries the theme “FUNTIPOLO Tayo Na't Magsaya sa Antipolo” at Robinsons Antipolo, exhibits various tourist destinations, resorts, recreation facilities, and restaurants that are found in the city and other towns in the province.

The office of Mayor Casimiro ‘Junjun’ Ynares, III said local and foreign tourists are being enticed to see, feel, hear, taste and smell the City of Antipolo, dubbed as the “Pilgrimage Capital of the Philippines,” through showcasing the hospitality of the people of the lone city of Rizal Province.

Games, cooking contests, food preparations and demonstrations by culinary experts, as well as locally made handicrafts and souvenir items from entrepreneurs of the city and other towns are part of the tourism event that also gathered exhibitors from other towns in the province.
Freebies and discount vouchers are also offered by major participants including Loreland Farm Resort.
Local and famous delicacies such as suman or the glutinous rice wrapped in leaves and cashew nuts, which are commonly sold during pilgrimages to Antipolo City’s International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, are also among the items for sale during the event.
