Sandro's reaction to PBBM's warm welcome in Camarines Sur: 'Love for all'

Rep. Marcos was in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on Saturday, Sept. 23 to lead the launch of the nationwide Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF).
The elder Marcos did the same in Nabua, Camarines Sur in what was a planned four-province, simultaneous launch of the all-encompassing social service drive.
In a chance interview by local reporters in Laoag, Rep. Marcos was asked what he thought about the warm welcome given by Camarines Sur folk to his father. The reporter who asked the question made sure to mention the name of the province twice, as if to hint at something.
Flashing his patented megawatt smile, the presidential son answered, "Kami'y nagpapasalat sating mga kasama sa Bicol (We thank those who are with us in Bicol). Love for all."
Camarines Sur, and the Bicol region in general, is widely considered the baliwick of former vice president Leni Robredo. In short, the President was in Kakampink country.
Robredo, former chairperson of the Liberal Party (LP), competed against the elder Marcos in the 2022 presidential race. She ended up a far second place, with the former senator scoring a rare majority vote win.
Robredo is a former Camarines Sur 3rd district representative.
Nabua in Camarines Sur's 5th district is under the control of the Villafuerte political clan, which is a staunch Marcos supporter.
Tolosa in Leyte, and Poblacion Monkayo in Davao de Oro were the two ofher BPSF launch locations.
Rep. Marcos, 29, is a senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives.
