In the Ilocos Region, PAGASA stated that Pangasinan rivers, Balincaguing, and Alaminos will likely be affected, along with the rivers of La Union and its tributaries, such as Amburayan, Baroro, lower Bauang, and Aringay.

In Central Luzon, the Balanga and Morong rivers of Bataan; Aurora rivers, Casiguran, Aguang, and lower Umiray; Zambales rivers and their tributaries, particularly Pamatawan, Sto. Tomas, Bucao, Bancal, and Lawis, will also be affected.

Watercourses in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (CALABARZON) and their tributaries are also likely to be affected, according to PAGASA.

PAGASA also noted that rivers and tributaries in Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, and Marinduque (MIMAROPA) will be susceptible to floods.

Meanwhile, watercourses in Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, Sorsogon, Albay, and Camarines Norte in the Bicol Region were included in PAGASA's flood advisory.

PAGASA also mentioned Western Visayas in the flood advisory, particularly the watercourses of Capiz, Antique, Negros Occidental, Iloilo, and Aklan.

In Central Visayas, particularly the rivers of Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental, along with their tributaries, and the rivers and tributaries of Leyte, Southern Leyte, Samar, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar in Eastern Visayas, might also be affected by flooding, said PAGASA.

The rivers and tributaries of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga del Sur in the Zamboanga Peninsula, as well as the Cagayan and Isabela rivers and their tributaries in Cagayan Valley, were also listed as locations with a general flood advisory.

PAGASA warned against possible flash floods for people living in low-lying areas and on mountain slopes in regions including CAR, Ilocos Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western, Eastern, and Central Visayas.

With this, the state-run weather bureau advised affected individuals and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council to take necessary precautionary measures. (Lizst Torres Abello)
