New and improved: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil skincare range

Tea tree oil has proven to provide a lot of health benefits, thanks to its antibacterial properties. The Body Shop knew how beneficial this ingredient is that they even released a skincare range. 

This specific tea tree oil that they harnessed comes from Mount Kenya, hand-harvested and steam-distilled in a span of no more than 12 hours. This method keeps the oil extracts at its highest quality. And, as always, the ingredients are sourced through Community Fair Trade and in partnership with Kutoka Ardhini, providing over income to over 1,000 small farmers.  

Not one to rest on their laurels, this UK brand reformulated this line recently—adding more products to help alleviate many skin concerns. The new formula boasts of more naturality and efficacy, offering results such as visible blemish reduction.

This improved skincare range also comes in new packaging such as 100 percent recyclable plastic caps and lids, with 100 percent recycled bottles and tubs that are collected from the streets of Bengaluru in India, clean flake labels, and 100 percent recyclable pack.
