NAIA authorities on alert after molotov blast at NAIA Terminal 3 parking

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) authorities were placed on alert following an explosion of a molotov cocktail at the parking areas of the Terminal 3 on Saturday morning, Sept. 23.

Based on the initial report of the Aviation Security Group (AvSeGrp) of the Philippine National Police, an unidentified man lobbed the molotov cocktail at the parking area and resulted in the damage of at least three cars after an explosion.

Policemen and airport authorities immediately secured the area while investigation was immediately launched to identify the perpetrator and determine the motive.

No person was injured during the incident.

Part of the security protocol was the paneling and inspection of the affected areas.
