Marcos said this as he led the nationwide simultaneous launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Nabua, Camarines Sur, on Saturday, Sept. 23.

In his speech, the President said the fair consolidates various programs and services from different national government agencies in one venue, including the delivery of several government assistance.

"Tinipon namin ang iba-ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan upang sama-samang maghatid sa inyo ng mga benepisyong magpapagaan sa inyong mga kalagayan (We collected different agencies here to deliver benefits that will alleviate your conditions)," Marcos said.

"Asahan po ninyo na patuloy naming pagbubutihin ang aming paglilingkod sa bayan (Rest assured that we will continue to improve our service to the people)," he added.

The two-day Serbisyo Fair hosts 75 programs from 29 government agencies. Among the services and programs offered in the event are the:

  • National ID application
  • Driver's license registration assistance

"Lahat ito ay pwedeng mag-apply dito upang hindi na ninyo kailangan pang lumayo para magkaroon ng mga ito (You can apply for all those services here so that you don't have to go far just to get them)," the President said.

In addition, the Department of Agriculture (DA) distributed various farming equipment to farmers while the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) distributed motor bancas and fish cage packages to fishermen.

The Department of Health (DOH) also distributed wheelchairs for the sick and the elderly.

Meanwhile, President Marcos urged the people to work together to overcome challenges and to realize the dream of a "Bagong Pilipinas" (New Philippines).

"Iisa po ang ating hangarin na maisulong ang Bagong Pilipinas na maipagmamalaki nating ipamana sa ating mga anak at sa mga susunod na henerasyon (We share the dream of a Bagong Pilipinas that we can proudly pass on to our children and the generations to come)," he said.

"Sa tulong ninyo, mapagtatagumpayan natin ang anumang mga hamon sa buhay. Basta't nagkakaisa, walang pagsubok o kahirapan ang hindi natin kakayanin (With your help, we can overcome any challenge in life. As long as we work together, there is nothing we can't handle)," he added.

According to Malacañang, the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair is intended to be replicated in every province to speed up the delivery of government services across the country.

"This is just one of several flagship programs and projects being launched under the all-inclusive 'Bagong Pilipinas' brand of governance and leadership campaign, highlighting the Administration's commitment towards the attainment of comprehensive policy reforms and full economic recovery," it said.
