Cops net drug pusher in Silay City

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Bonifacio Kalye Onse, Barangay 2, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Friday, September 22.

Police identified the suspect as Noli Dicto, 29, of Barangay 2, tagged as a street-level individual.

Dicto yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 and the P2,300 marked money.

Police Major Rhea Sarah Villanueva, officer-in-charge of the Silay City Police Station, said the suspect was apprehended for a drug offense in 2021 but was later released through plea bargaining.

Villanueva said the suspect was an alleged active supplier of illegal drugs in Barangay 2.
