Police seize P340,000 worth of shabu from woman in Bulacan sting
A woman allegedly involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs in the City of Meycauayan, Bulacan was arrested during a police buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of P340,000 worth of suspected shabu on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 23.
The operation was jointly conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Bulacan Police Intelligence Unit, and Meycauayan police.
Meycauyan City police identified the arrested suspect as Lorna C. Salvador, 38, of Barangay Panginay, Balagtas, Bulacan.
PDEA Bulacan said Salvador was nabbed after selling 5 grams of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay Malhacan, City of Meycauayan.
Authorities said Salvador, tagged as a high-value target, was engaged in the bulk distribution of illegal drugs in Bulacan.
The recovered illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 laboratory section for analysis, police said.
The suspect will be charged for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165.
