The preparations for the nationwide launch of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) were very stressful, but still ultimately worth it.
Thus, said House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos, who led the launch of the program Saturday, Sept. 23 in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
"Nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng mga nag-organize. Alam ko ang aking team sa district office mga isang linggo na hindi nakatulog dahil sa stress pero all worth it naman.Nakikita mo sa daming taong nagpakita," Rep. Marcos said in a chance interview in Laoag.
(We thank all the organizers. I know that my team in the district office lost sleep for a week because of the stress but it was all worth it. You can see it with the multitude of people that came out.)
The BPSF is an all-encompassing social service initiative of President Marcos. The simultaneous launch of the project Saturday took place in four provinces--the other three being Camarines Sur (Nabua), Leyte (Tolosa), and Davao de Oro (Poblacion Monkayo).
Rep. Marcos was the point person for the project in Ilocos Norte.
"Hopefully in the coming weeks, magagawa din namin yan sa iba't ibang mga probinsya (we can do it in the other provinces)," said the presidential son.
"Once again, I'd like to thank everyone involved, my district office, ang district ni Speaker Romualdez, lahat ng iba't ibang ahensya (and the different agencies).
"Alam ko napakalaking bagay to, sa mga araw na papunta o towards the build-up to today, stressed na stressed sila pero nakikita ko sa mga ngiti nila na medyo worth it (I know this was a big deal, in the days leading or toward the build-up today, they were very stressed but they're smiles say that it's worth it)," Rep. Marcos said.
