Test drive the all-new Honda CR-V at SM Mall of Asia

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) invites interested customers to its “Drive the Future” event that features the recently launched all-new Honda CR-V. Hailed as a significant step in HCPI’s electrification journey, customers are encouraged to check out the vehicle display and experience the all-new CR-V first-hand at the at the SM Mall of Asia on September 21 to 24, 2023.

The sixth generation all-new Honda CR-V was officially launched in the Philippine market last September 13, 2023. Making a milestone with the e:HEV technology, the Honda CR-V is the first Honda vehicle with a full hybrid system. It is also the first CR-V in its generation with a turbocharged 1.5 liter engine. What’s more, it comes fully equipped with advanced technologies, the Honda SENSING, and the Honda CONNECT that was simultaneously introduced with the all-new model.

The e:HEV two-motor hybrid system in the Honda CR-V achieves the perfect balance of an exhilarating drive with excellent environmental performance by running on three drive modes depending on the situation. Fuel efficiency rating is 29.4 kilometers per liter based on UN R101 test under urban driving condition.

On the other hand, the VTEC Turbo seamlessly blends power and economy with its new high-efficiency, high-response turbocharger that delivers an agile acceleration and sophisticated driving experience. Aside from being the most powerful gas-powered CR-V to date, fuel economy rating is at 16.4 kilometers per liter based on UN R101 test under extra urban driving condition.

All variants come equipped with the Honda CONNECT and Honda SENSING. Using smart telematics technology, the Honda CONNECT allows a seamless interaction of users with their cars via a smartphone application. Features of the Honda CONNECT such as security alarm, speed alert, find my car, geofencing, remote vehicle control, vehicle status among others allow for an enhanced experience that also promote greater safety, security, and convenience.

The all-new CR-V, with the e:HEV full hybrid, VTEC Turbo, Honda CONNECT and Honda SENSING are Honda’s tangible demonstration of its commitment to achieve key global goals by 2050: zero traffic collision fatalities involving its products, and carbon neutrality for all its products and corporate activities.  Lining up with this is the aim to realize 100% electrification of automobiles by 2040. 

The motoring public is enjoined to see and experience the all-new Honda CR-V variants available on display and for test drive at the SM Mall of Asia from September 21-24. Special surprises await event participants especially when they download and activate the Honda CONNECT app. The exhibit will also feature Honda Genuine Accessories and exclusive Honda Merchandise items.
