Vice President Sara Duterte has sat down with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-Soo for bilateral talks, where they discussed the possibility of partnership on climate change, development and digital divide issue.
Duterte capped off her trip to Seoul, where she served as a keynote speaker at the Global Education and Innovation Summit (GEIS), with meetings with Korean government officials, including Han.

During our meeting, he recognized the roles of Filipinos in the Korean history),” the Vice President said in her Facebook post.
I also thanked Prime Minister Han for his good treatment and recognition of the Filipinos in South Korea),” she added.
After talks with Korean officials, Duterte also met with the Filipino community in South Korea to honor the overseas Filipino workers (OFWs)’ sacrifices for their families.
And it makes us proud na naririnig namin sa mga dayuhan ang appreciation nila sa mga trabaho ninyo (I thank you all for raising our flags abroad. And it makes us proud to hear from foreigners their appreciation to your work),” she said.
