Herbosa presents PH hypertension efforts at WHO report launch

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa represented the Philippines on during the launch of the inaugural World Health Organization (WHO) Report on Hypertension at The Plaza in New York City, USA.

As one of the three speakers, Herbosa on Sept. 20 shared the country's best practices in tackling hypertension, drawing attention to the country's successful strategies in managing this widespread medical condition.

Other speakers, including WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus and Mr. Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg Philanthropies and WHO Global Ambassador for Noncommunicable Diseases and Injuries, also shared their insights and perspectives on combating hypertension on a global scale.
