Fire victims get assistance in Parañaque City

ParaÃ±aque City Mayor Eric Olivarez and Rep. Edwin Olivarez gave assistance to 14 families or 48 individuals who were victims of a fire on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

The fire razed houses at Purok 9, Apple St., Sampaloc Sie II, Barangay BF Homes at around 4:02 p.m. and was declared fire out at 5:17 p.m.

The victims of the fire who were temporary sheltered at Purok 9 multipurpose hall were visited by the Olivarez brothers.

Mayor Olivarez said the city government distributed mats, blankets, clothes, hygiene kits, food packs and financial assistance to the fire victims

He added that construction materials were also given to the affected residentsd.

The office of Cong. Edwin, Department of Social Welfare and Development â€“National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) also distributed assistance to the victims.
