DOH, DFA join UN General Assembly debates on global solidarity

The Philippine delegation to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) under the leadership of Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique Manalo and co-led by Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, took part in the UNGA General Debates on Sept. 20, held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA.

The UNGA General Debate served as a pivotal platform for member states to demonstrate global solidarity and reaffirm their commitment to fostering peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability worldwide.

The DOH said that the focus of the discussions centered on expediting action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals, with the aim of ensuring a better future for all. (Zekinah Elize Espina)
