Las Piñas monitoring team conducts inspection in markets

The Las Piñas market monitoring team conducted an inspection of all public markets in the city on Thursday, Sept. 21, to ensure that there is enough supply of rice.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the inspection was also made to dispel rumors on the lack of supply of rice in the city due to the implementation of the rice price ceiling.

Aguilar assured residents that there is enough supply of rice in the city, particularly in the public markets.

She also said the city government will continue to coordinate with local rice retailers to meet their needs and to ensure the supply of rice in the city.
