Son hacks father to death in Negros Oriental

BACOLOD CITY – A 40-year-old man allegedly hacked his father to death in their house in Barangay Senora Ascion, San Jose, Negros Oriental on Wednesday, September 20.

Police identified the victim as Jesus Gadiana Sr., 78.

Investigation said the victim went home after a drinking session and a heated argument ensued between him and his 40-year-old son Jesus Jr.

The younger Gadiana took an ax and hacked his father. 

Police arrested Jesus Jr. in a hot-pursuit operation near the town’s public market in Barangay Poblacion.
