Rain showers to prevail in most of PH due to ITCZ, localized thunderstorms
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Sept. 21 said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers will be experienced in some parts of Eastern Visayas and Mindanao due to the prevalence of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

PAGASA warned against flash floods and landslides in Eastern Visayas, Davao Region, and Caraga because of occasional moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will experience hot and humid weather due to partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with a chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio also pointed out that PAGASA is still monitoring a cloud cluster off the Pacific Ocean, as it may develop into a Low Pressure Area. (Lizst Torres Abello)
