PRC sets in-person oathtaking of new medical technologists, laboratory technicians

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, Sept. 21 announced the date and venue of the face-to-face mass oathtaking of new medical technologists and medical laboratory technicians.

The oathtaking of the said professions will take place in Baguio City on Oct. 1, in Cebu on Oct. 3, in Iloilo on Oct. 11, and in Cagayan de Oro on Oct. 14.

As the mass oathtaking will be conducted face-to-face, participants are asked to bring either a vaccination card or a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test performed 48 hours before the ceremony.

PRC noted that interested inductees must register at their official website before noon prior to the day of the ceremony.

At the same time, attendees are asked to bring their oath forms with the generated quick response (QR) code. This document will be submitted during the event to verify their attendance.

However, those unable to attend may request a special appointment or join the online ceremony, which will be announced once the schedule has been confirmed.

Inductees may proceed with their initial registration by securing an online appointment at the official website right after the ceremony.
