Nadine Lustre reacts to Vice Ganda's 'katol' joke

Nadine Lustre took to social media recently to inspire fans with a quote.

She wrote, "From this life in to the next We're all just tryna make it through."

Obviously, the actress is kind of saying we're all in this together.

Or something.

Vice Ganda is unmoved.

His attention was on the photo Nadine used.

It is a bird's-eye view of a couple lying on what seems to be an open field but with the grass seemingly cut in a spiral pattern resembling, well, a katol.

The TV host was quick to comment: “Wow, parang may ieendorse kang katol soon!"

To make clear he is just joking, he added, "Chozzzz! Love u!"

Nadine was game, replying to Vice with "dragon kung umusok. lamok siguradong tepok."

Of course, those in the know remember this as the slogan for an old Dragon Katol TV ad.

Fans loved the exchange, deeming it a welcome respite from the usual negativity on social media.

Then again, there are others who believe the post is Nadine's way of hinting to fans she is engaged to be married.

How they came up with the hypothesis is anybody's guess.
