BUTUAN CITY – A magnitude-4.2 earthquake rattled Davao Occidental on Thursday morning, September 21.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded the earthquake at 4:33 a.m. and its epicenter was 176 kilometers (kms) southeast of Balut Island, Sarangani, Davao Occidental.
The earthquake had a depth of 96 kms, Phivolcs said.
No damage or injuries were seen from the tremor.
The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and Davao Occidental Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported no damage or injury from the earthquake.
