Water interruptions to hit Muntinlupa, Rizal, QC

East Zone concessionaire Manila Water Co. has announced service disruptions in Rizal and Quezon City starting Wednesday night, Sept. 20.

Line maintenance, Line Meter Replacement, and Interconnection activities are said to be the cause of the water interruptions.

Subsequently, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. has also announced an emergency interruption in parts of Muntinlupa City due to network maintenance.

Nonetheless, all services are set during off-peak hours to avoid any further inconvenience.

Below is the list of affected areas and their dates:

Sept. 20 to 21

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgys. Bagumbayan and Ugong Norte, QC

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgy. Dolores, Taytay, Rizal

10 PM to 5 AM – Brgy. Dela Paz (Logcom Village), Antipolo, Rizal

10 PM to 6 AM – Brgys. Alabang, Buli, and Cupang, Muntinlupa City

Sept. 21 to 22

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgys. Teachers Village East, Sikatuna Village, UP Village, San Vicente, Ugong Norte, and Bagumbayan, QC

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgys. San Isidro and San Juan, Taytay, Rizal

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgy. San Juan, Cainta, Rizal

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgy. Tayuman and San Carlos, Binangonan, Rizal

10 PM to 4 AM – Brgy. Dolores, Taytay, Rizal

Residents are urged to store enough water before the maintenance starts to mitigate possible water issues. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
