Pastor, 4 others hurt in road collision

SAN NARCISO, Quezon – A 59-year-old pastor and four others were injured in a collision between a tricycle and a Toyota Innova on the national highway in Barangay Calwit here on Tuesday night, September 19.

Police identified the injured as Ricky Madera Samson, 27, tricycle driver; Tony Moradas, pastor; Nieves Madera, 69; Carmelita Oquindo, 68, and John Carlo Moradas Sullera, 20, residents of Barangay Calwit.

Investigation said the victims were headed to Mulanay, Quezon from this town when they were accidentally bumped by a Toyota Innova driven by San Narciso resident Jomar Comediero. His passenger was unscathed. 

Victims were taken to the San Narciso Municipal Hospital.

Comediero is under police custody and faces a case of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries.
