More than just co-stars? Jillian Ward opens up on Ken Chan

The onscreen chemistry between 18-year-old Jillian Ward and 29-year-old Ken Chan is very obvious.

Fans can't help but feel excited with their interactions as seen in the GMA show "Abot Kamay Na Pangarap," where they're playing the roles of  Dra. Analyn and Dr. Lyndon, respectively.

So, how does Jillian feel about it?

"Like, minsan napagsasabihan po kami kasi pareho po kami - di namin ma-control yung tawa namin pag nagte-take. Kasi masyado daw kaming masaya pag magkasama. Tawa po kami ng tawa," she added.

Jillian revealed that behind the scenes, she and Ken are actually "super close."

"So lagi ko po siyang kausap. Lagi ko siyang tinatanungan ng advice. Lagi kaming nagtutulungan pagdating sa eksena. Even outside the eksena. So sa personal at sa on screen, nagtutulungan kami."

Does she think of Ken as a good boyfriend, hypothetically speaking?

Jillian blushed, responding, "Bakit may ganu'ng tanong?"

After a bit of pause, she answered, "Well, of course, kasi Ken Chan is super bait po siya. Sobrang sipag and matalino po siya. Hindi lang siya artista, businessman din. And super faithful din po siya."

She shared some things she recently learned about Ken.

So, what's their relationship now, we asked. Do they see each other as siblings? Friends? Or something more?

Jillian hesitated a bit before admitting that they've become  closer.

"Nakakapag-usap po kami kung ano-ano."

Could their relationship turn romantic? Is there a chance that Ken might try to court her, we pressed.

Jillian made it clear that for now, she's not open to the idea.

Jillian was interviewed by Bulletin Entertainment at the 15th-anniversary celebration of Life Strong.

She endorses one of the company's brands, Pretty Secret, a line of trendy and affordable cosmetics and skincare products.
