Lotto ticket bought in Rizal yields new millionaire

The P77.4 million Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot was won by a lone bettor from Binangonan, Rizal, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

PCSO said the lucky bettor correctly guessed the 07-10-09-13-21-19 winning number combination during the Sept. 19 evening draw.

However, as stated in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, prizes P10,000 and above are subject to a 20 percent tax deduction.

Moreover, under the Republic Act (RA 1169) or the PCSO Charter, if the jackpot prize remains unclaimed, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund.

The Ultra Lotto draw is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
