Drug pusher gunned down in buy-bust

TACLOBAN CITY – A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Juan, Sulat, Eastern Samar on Tuesday, September 19.

Police identified the suspect as Carlo Aclado, a resident of Barangay San Juan, and a high-value target in Eastern Samar.

A poseur-buyer purchased a plastic sachet of suspected shabu worth P10,000 from the suspect.

However, Aclado sensed the presence of policemen and fired a gun towards the undercover police officer who was unharmed after hiding behind a coconut tree.

Lawmen returned fire and hit the suspect who was taken to the Taft District Hospital in Taft, Eastern Samar where he was pronounced dead-on-arrival.
