2 drivers nabbed in Tanauan City drug sting

TANAUAN CITY, Batangas – Police arrested two drivers in a buy-bust operation in Soledad Park, Barangay Darasa, this city, on Tuesday, September 19.

The suspects were identified as Alex Barnuevo, 40, from Barangay San Francisco, San Pablo City, Laguna, and Pablito Magalasin, 43, from Barangay  Palanan, Makati City.

They were apprehended after they sold 30 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000 to a police poseur-buyer.

The suspects also yielded a Toyota Hi-Ace Super Grandia with license plates NVX-4146 and the buy-bust money.

Barnuevo and Magalasin face drug-related cases.
