James Reid has come out to admit that his talent agency and record label Careless is going through a "rough" time.
"This year's been one of the biggest challenges so far," he told ABS-CBN News.
Without mentioning directly the reported arrest of his business partner Jeffrey Oh not long ago for supposedly operating businesses here without the necessary permits, James reiterated that he was actually "shocked" by the turn of events.
As to his father's supposed involvement in the matter, he made clear "He had nothing to do with it."
Seemingly eager to downplay the issue, James reiterated that he is "learning a lot" from it.
He noted that it is also "the biggest time" for the label as "there's a lot of big international collaborations" in the pipeline for them.
As to Liza Soberano, James assured "there's nothing to worry about," intimating that she has several "amazing projects" coming up.
